Big mistake! Ryan is also trio's roadie/quality control/babysitter guy.The only way to travel.. Scot and Ryan ride atop a pickup truck. People take car pooling to an insane level in Haiti... we counted 23 people in the BED of a pickup truck with more in the cab *Yes! Downtown Port a Prince. The guys rode on top the Suburban while the girls (most of the time) rode inside. Both were equally dusty and terrifying (at first). You see, there are no traffic laws as far as we could tell!Ben and Andrea Massey... Andrea is also the trio's beautiful roadie/director of merchandise/quality control *Ben and Andrea sing with some of the kids at the orphanage *Mark Cox (Susi's husband and the trio's sound man/roadie/comic relief) with a couple of buddies from the orphanage *Looking off of Napolean's FortSusi prepares to face the escalators. She has a phobia of them so the airport exchanges were not always the most peaceful or efficient experiencesA boy looks through the wall of the Church. The Christians in Haiti walk miles to churches with no water and sometimes only a 60 watt light bulb in the center of the ceiling (if they have a building to meet in) to read their Bibles in evening services *Becky Massey (who is married to Paul Massey, the trio's brother) with friends from the orphanage. Becky is a photographer running a top-notch studio called "Moment in Time Photography" in St. Clairsville, OH. *Paul (Pete) and Becky Massey stand by a cannon at Napolean's Fort *Paul Massey (Becky's husband, trio's brother) with a boy from the orphanage *"I'm the king of the world" Pete (Paul Massey) stands on the highest wall of Napolean's Fort *A Chuch in Haiti *Pastor Scot Caley of Park Christian Church brings a message of encouragement as pastor Ne Ne of Despinos translates *Youth Pastor Steven Cox speaks while pastor Ne Ne translatesMark running the sound. Many thanks to the people who donated items and money to this trip. God's love was shown to these kids through your generosity *A girl holds her new clothes. The kids were so happy to get a change of clothes and toys. They also REALLY liked the candy * *People live on Mount Cabrit because they can dig sand and fill trucks with it. Jobs in Despinos are scarce. However, there is no water on the mountain at all. Every day people walk 4 miles down the mountain, get water and walk back up. *A taxi (tap tap in Creole) *Market *Market *The group prays over a small village *

Shiloh singing at HUGE release party for debut cd, "This Must Be Glory."Mark and Ben discuss the parameters of live audio equipment application... it's serious buisness...Ok... Ryan and Naomi.. Blink! There we go.. Ryan is such an instrumental part of this group that there is no doubt we could not do it without him. "The voice of reason" we call him, he hauls the sound equipment, sets up, babysits and tears down all while keeping Naomi under control. that's no small feat... jk...Thank you, Ryan Ben, Andrea and LukeMom and Dad. Lookin pretty good after having 12 kids and homeschooling them for years. Mom's hair is definitely white, but still pretty. Dad also pastored several Baptist churches throughout our childhood and worked full time. Words cannot express the value of having godly parents. So many don't.The trio's great aunt and uncle, Sandra and CG Douthit, on the left standing with their Mommy, Patricia Massey, on the right. CG gave Ben his first guitar when he was about 11 and his first banjo when he was 13. Mark and Susi Cox. Books could be written about Mark. His hard work and dedication to this ministry without compensation of any kind (other than he gets to sit down while he runs the sound) will surely be remembered and rewarded. His upbeat
(sometimes outrageously so) attitude is contagious.. scaryAndrea and Ben sitting at the Cd table. " Aandie" makes the trio's Cds cards, schedules and other info available at the places the trio travels to perform. Her sweet smile and loving spirit makes eveyone happy too, but especially Ben SMT on the set of the + or - 60 showMark hard at workAww now, sing it, Sister!Play it, Sister! You play it, Link!YESSS!wait... it's not working? That IS a chicken on Ben's headSusi before neck surgery.Susi recovering from neck surgery.Hookin' it upSoundin' good!We have all loved stained glass ever since we were little kids. We get to see some truly extraordinary works of stained glass as we visit different churches.Susi and Ben discuss a new routine for the program. Susi is all for it, Ben looks skeptical. The beautiful Mrs. Ben MasseyPutting together a set list. Susi and Aandie put in their two cents and Mark waits impatiently while Ben tries to block out the bad ideas, filter through the good ones and basically, ignore his surroundings and come up with a 45 minute program within the next 5 minutes.SMT singing with a younger sibling group called "The Massey Trio" Sam, Ramona and Sarah Massey also write sing and play Christian music. This is a very talented group of kids. Pray for them, that God will continue to direct their paths and use them for His glory. Susi singing "Reflection" in the sound proof recording box that Ben and Mark built in her basement. Working full time jobs and living an hour away from each other has made progress on our new CD difficult this year, but we are excited about the new music. We think you will like it too!THE recording machine.YesssNaomi singing "Higher" in the studio. One of the songs that will be on our upcoming CD.Shiloh at Park Christian Church in Dennison, OH.Early morning textingMark recruits some help with the sound setup...The kids were eager to help and the attitude was catching...Future roadies? :)Morgan Massey (the trio's younger brother, a Marine) just home from Iraq. Mom, Susi and Naomi flew to CA where he was stationed, to welcome him back to the USA. It's complicated...Covering the sound equipment with plastic bags. Thanks alot Ryan! Good idea! The 2 rock bands got rained out. "Stinkpenny" (who helped furnish and set up sound) helped tear down the stage in the rain. Rock on. "Old Alchemy" (pictured) performed an unpluggged acoustic set inside for the people participating in the silent auction. We appreciate both bands very much...Thank you, too, Pete... and Mark..."Shiloh" unpacking for a weekend in NC. We played at 2 churches and got to spend some time with family. We stayed at Aandie's parents' home. This photo was taken just a few hours before "The New Banjo" video, which was also shot at this location. You can view this video below...Terrell and Janice Moore's (Andrea's parents) kitchen. The group continues to talk about Janice's cooking. The real southern thing. Wonderful.Sometimes, it's better not to even ask..."Shiloh" on C-span! Not really. We probably wouldn't be invited on C-span. This was the finale of a Methodist conference/retreat. Much cooler than C-span. Our first- ever round room. We were pretty excited about it...
